Hot Rolled Plate
Hot Rolled Plates utilized in the manufacturing of Welded Beams & Columns are to AS/NZS 3678 : 2016 ACRS Certified and are available as listed below.
Grade of Steel:
- AS/NZS 3678:2016 Grade 300/300L15
- AS/NZS 3678:2016 Grade 350/350L15
- AS/NZS 3678:2016 Grade 400/400L15
- Higher grades & SO grade are available subject to MILL Confirmation
Plate Dimension:
Thickness range: 6mm to 80mm
Plate Width range: 150*mm to 2,440*mm
* Non standards dimensions are availed and subject to MILL confirmation
Non Destructive testing of Plate: (NATA Certification Optional)
AS/NZS 1710 Level 1 – Ultra Sonic Testing for Lamination Detection NATA Certification Optional
Through thickness (‘Z’ direction) tensile test in accordance with AS/NZS 3678 and AS/NZS 1391
Plate Cutting or Preparation:
Thermal cutting process is used to produce an edge condition that ensures that welds comply with AS/NZS 1554.1 Category SP. Edges not incorporated in welds have a surface finish of Class 3 or better.
